Aloo Ki Lonji (Spicy Potatoes with Fennel seeds)

I’ve always loved eating Indian food and with the right spices and some minor shopping good dinner is coming your way.

  1. Get spices out of the cabinet and ready to go
  2. Boil potatoes, measure spices, chop tomatoe
  3. Add oil and whole spicesΒ cook and then add tomatoes and ground spices until they form a thick past

  4. Add potatoes and bring to boil
  5. Cook until thick paste is formed and serve

Cheap and delicious.

Peachy Green Smoothie

Day 3

Oh smoothie life, you are a giver. Milk, spinach, apple, peaches, ice. πŸƒπŸ‘πŸŽπŸ₯› They said use soy milk. I did not because I do not hate life. I used whole milk like a reasonable person.

Smoothie Challenge

Why?

With a day job and not enough time in the day I realized I needed to eat better. I’m not a big breakfast guy so.. smoothies.

How?

Purchase a bunch of fruit and vegetables. Conventional grocery stores, specialty stores, and costco were my target

I have had a Vitamix (amazon) for years. It was time to put it to use.

Containers for prep were also key. I’ve had snapware (amazon) for years. It is great and can be run through the dishwasher.

Drinking containers and transport

Hydroflask 22oz tumbler (amazon)Β and straw lid combo from Klean Canteen (amazon) were the option I went with.

Time investment and Preparation Strategy

Mornings aren’t necessarily my friend in getting things done. But, I can prepare everything ahead the night before and throw it all together in the morning.

When Will It End?

Not sure. Pretty tasty and easy so far.
